Despite being touted as the easiest way to apply for college, the Common App website was difficult to navigate and hard to understand. Interactive Strategies set out to transform the website into a comprehensive resource for all. From the directory of colleges and universities, to tools for counselors, to financial planning for parents; the website became a resource for college planning and beyond.

Working as the primary Front End Developer with a team of PHP Drupal developers, I was responsible for the visual side of the website. Leveraging component based pages and standard page templates, we created a Drupal 7 website that balances all of their robust content, while bringing the colleges that make the Common App so great to the forefront. Within a month of launch, Common App had received over 1 million unique users to the site.
